First Craft Night

We had our first craft night! I decided that we'd make "Where are you signs"; These signs are to hang on your door so that you can move your "marker" to where ever you to let other people on the floor know your basic where abouts. Its a fun cute little craft using foam boards, foam sticky letters and markers, and obviously velcro. Overall we had a good time gossiping and talking about school and everything else. Next week we're going to the Ball State/Navy football game :) Can't wait!

Room

Heres the view from my room. I overlook the other hallway; directly across with the windows is our Health/Physical Education Building. The Round dome on the right is Lewellen Swimming Pool, and the building on far back left is Worthen Arena (basketball predominately). Main road is McKinley

& Picture on the Right shows what my room looks like from the right of the window- Past the tress you can see the College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) building; Then Bracken Library (if you look hard you can see it behind the CAP building) and Far back right corner is the Shafer Bell Tower!

As you walk into the door; heres the croweded Room. Second Pic- heres my room from the view of my possible Roommate (if she doesn't show, the room will change immediantly!) My bed is on the other side of my desk, my futon is placed in front of the fridge as the TV is above the closet. The Door is closed off; which is why i block it.

This is my little hallway. First as if you were standing looking at my door to the right, the door and the left of the hallway. There are 28 Rooms on my floor.

Training is long but going well, i'm learning alot but quickly! We're going from 8am to 5 where we break up into our 'small groups' and then after dinner we have hall time usually from 7-9ish. Its long- but very short! I'm loving it and getting very excited about this year!

Move In!

Hi All,

I haven't posted in a few days, Its been rather busy around here. I moved in on Friday night, went home for the day, and then Resident Assistant (RA) training started early Sunday night and has been nonstop since!

The Zehners, (Julie, Sandi and Michael) [below first picture; Julie & I second] along with Mom came up to help me move- and boy did I need and am so grateful for their help! It was a long day, but made my life so much easier- my room is now all set up for the time being!

Overall, it was a long day but very easy and succesful- plus Mike burned his tongue on Hot Sauce while eating at Scotty's Brewhouse! (hehe)

A week ago, Kristie & Katie Kennedy along with Mom came up to take me out to dinner and so Katie could visit her Alma Mater :)

First we went to Pizza King (Love) and then we went to see Momma Mia! Which was really cute and adorable- don't you wish life was a musical and people would randomly burst into song and dance?!

Baby brother is growing up; he turned 18 on the Brickyard, Mom and Dad got him RockBand; and they've all been playing it nonstop- hopefully you have good hand-eye coordination to play this game! So, head over to the house and you'll get to play!

What did I get him you ask? a Playboy :) Whats a good older sister suppose to do?! hehe. I'm a terrible influence- But I'm the cool older sister now!
